A Little Note About the Event

The Montville Township 4th of July celebration has been a tradition for many years. It is three days of fun for all with great food, entertainment, rides and our renowned fireworks display. The rides will be in the Montville Township High School parking lot and all food and entertainment will be right next to it in the Library parking lot.

What many have not realized is that your friends and neighbors have made this event possible by volunteering their time and energy to help bring this exciting family event to Montville Township. This wonderful tradition continues in 2015. Collectively, the volunteers dedicate an enormous amount of time to plan and execute all facets of the celebration and the Township dedicates a lot of resources to support the planning process, as well. Several of the volunteers are actually township employees that volunteer their personal time.

The event is funded by a variety of means including event revenues, donations and services. Lakeland Bank has been the official sponsor for many years and a multitude of local individuals and businesses continue to provide generous support, as well. Montville Township 4th of July, Inc. is a non-profit corporation formed for the sole purpose of planning and hosting the event. It is not affiliated with the Township.

The parade has been a big part of the celebration for many years and is back in 2015!!!

A special note of appreciation to the Montville Police Dept., Montville Board of Education, Montville Township Recreation Dept., Public Works Dept., Montville Township First Aid Squad, Montville Library, Fire Dept. of Montville, Pine Brook & Towaco, the Montville Township Committee, and all the volunteers who help make this celebration healthy, safe, and fun for all.

Thank you,

Vincent G Maffucci
